Pressed Flower Egg Decorating
An egg is often considered to be the perfect shape in nature.
It is the beginning of life for approximately 10,500 species, does not roll away once laid, is large enough to incubate an embryo, can bear significant weight and is small enough to exit the body in the most efficient way.
There’s something magical about working with eggs. They are strong yet fragile, tactile and varied. We used early Spring pressed flowers from our Den Kit Co. Flower Press to decorate our clutch for a colourful Easter display.
You’ll need some eggs, a thin solution of flower and water paste, tweezers and a fine brush (you can use PVA glue, but we love the old-fashioned, mix-your-own paste!).
We enjoyed this mindful activity so much I doubt we’ll ever have non-decorated eggs again...
