B&LLA Award Finalists
The National Trust Nature Hideaway Kit and the Ed Stafford Shelter Kit make it amongst the glitterati as B&LLA Award Finalists.
Rewarding excellence in product innovation, brand licensing management as well as retail execution within the ever-evolving brand and licensing arena, the Brand & Lifestyle Licensing Awards culminate each year in a celebratory lunch and awards ceremony in London. There were whoops of astonishment, delight and excitement earlier this month, when the finalists were announced and it became clear that we had made not just one, but two product categories.
Our Nature Hideaway Kit, produced in collaboration and by license with The National Trust stands proud within the final eight in the 'Best Brand Licensed Children’s Product or Range'. To put this in context, we are competing against super brands such as Uniqlo and Scouts.
Making it into the final eight of the 'Inspired Innovation Brand Licensed Product or Range' is the Ed Stafford Shelter Kit - an adventure of a kit designed in partnership with Ed Stafford.
For any brand, this is a huge achievement - for us it feels almost unreal. The winners will be announced at a Very Posh Do currently scheduled to take place in June, and for which we’d need a new frock. Whether this will become yet another victim of the national lockdown is yet to know - but regardless of the date, or indeed the result, we are celebrating this victory of the small brand, and raise a glass to our two fabulous kits and the two terrific teams we have collaborated with, who share in every bit of the glory and who we’re incredibly proud to represent.
